This is basically porn for me.




Of course I concern myself with the reading and writing of books, but over the past several years I've also grown more interested in the making of books: their existence as physical creations; as things made of matter and not just as stories absorbed mentally. There is an art to putting a book together. This craft too is one of beauty and grace.


We've come a long way from Guttenberg's printing press and yet ink remains, coursing through the veins and down the spines of our favorite tomes.
